During the recent UK election campaign, I received a number of leaflets and emails from organisations who were attempting to mobilise the Muslim vote. As I read their literature, I was struck by how narrow the interests of Muslims were portrayed. Apparently, I need only be concerned with islamophobia, faith schools and foreign policy.
